In our house made of paper

Hello I hope everyone is good, and enjoying their summer. My mother kindly purchased this dress for me from warehouse, I don't really go in their if I'm being honest. Partly because where I live it's in the opposite direction to everything else and partly because when I go in with my friends they give us a dirty looks. But anyways I plan to wear this to the new vintage festival at goodwood which I think is going to be pretty awesome, I mean it better be the tickets cost enough!

I plan on posting some pictures that I've taken soon because my lovely aunty has given me her old cannon eos something or other so I'm off to where my mum works to take some pictures with my friends, so keep you eyes open!

Your swords grown old and rusty

Hot and sunny again, I wasn't made for heat, I had to come inside because it was too hot. Typical. My aunty was down so we went bowling, I was awful. I scored zero five goes in a row, it was shameful. After that we went to the big house were my mum works to have a picnic and I also went for a little walk and to take some pictures.

Today's outfit is pretty similar to yesterday but I was having a melt down and couldn't decide what to wear haha

I really want to receive letters, I never get anything in the post. I love the idea of getting home and finding a little envelope just for you, something that someone put some effort into. Not just these silly virtual things we have nowadays haha.

Walking, stumbling, holding hands

Just a short post today and a quite boring outfit really.
Today I went to the mecca of cheap rubbish. I'm not going to lie thought, I do love it. I tried on a few things but none were particularly flattering, so I ended up just getting spotty tights (two pairs because I know their thin. I know organised) a ring and some hair slides. That's about it for now!

J'Taime

It's the first official day of my summer holidays today and its been nice and sunny! I'm lucky enough to live pretty near one of the nicest beach's around and even more luckily my friend lives right in front of it so me and Megan made our way down there. We went crabbing with her brother and her step sisters cousins. Crabbing is definitely not my forte at all. When we had let our crabs back in we headed back to her house and then out to the beach.

You can turn your back on the bitter world

The sun is shining, there's only one week left of school and all is right in the world. I'm in a surprisingly good mood considering the fact that I have a list of Latin vocab to learn and a 'poem box' to make and no money whatsoever haha.

Yesterday I saw Shrek, yes this is how cool I am, now some cynics may say that Shrek has been dragged out too far. I however think you can never get enough Shrek, I laughed, I cried and the whole experience was made more enjoyable by the Shrek 3D glasses they have. They have Shrek ears on and are green for those of you that haven't had the pleasure of seeing them. Saturday evening and for some of Sunday I was at Lanta's had a whale of a time. Here are some pictures we took today. I just want to clear up any confusion, I don't make a habit of going and standing in roads, I just seem to be in recent pictures.

I'd just like to say a late happy birthday to Jazzabelle of Jazzabelle's Diary . If you haven't already visit her blog, it's one of my favourites to read.

Waiting with the wind against your face

Just a short post today as nothing much has happened to me between yesterday and today. I would just like to say thank you to Isabel from Taste the rainbow for lovely comment on Here , it really made me happy, it was so lovely thank you.
Does anybody know where I can get some spotty tights, I know I'm a bit late with jumping on this bandwagon, I can't find any. I saw some people on lookbook with some (add a lookbook invite to my list of wants haha) and some of my favourite bloggers with some and I'm deeply in love with them .
This post is a little random but I was trying to decide what to wear on Saturday and this was one of the options so I thought I'd show you.

This song you sing gives me vertigo

The rain has descended upon us. I was sat just enjoying a quiet muffin (has anyone tried the new costa muffins? Delicious) in front of the cathedral with my friend Molly when it hit, luckily for me I had my beautiful accesorize umbrella but my uniform was kinda soaked so I changed into my jumper from Beyond Retro when I got home so thought I'd snap you some shots!

This is my watch I made myself with some old velvet which was on my hand mirror, unfortunately some of it has few marks on it but I think there may be a haberdashery in a village a few minutes away that might have some more. Hopefully.

Finally, this is the birdcage my mum got me from a garden show she went to this week its pictured in the second shot above, that wasn't just me being really odd. Currently it's filled with sweet peas and fairy lights and looks lovely on my bookshelf.

Hope everyone is having a lovely week, it seems to be going particularly slowly for me but its Wednesday today which is halfway through the school week so I'm halfway there!

Made of ivy and gold

Today was my grandma's 65th birthday so we went off to my aunts for a barbeque. Only two more weeks of school left, but seeing as I like to be overly optimistic and don't count the week that we're on it's technically only one week! After that there's six weeks of summer stretching out before me.

I am now the happiest person ever, just as I finished typing that sentence my mother handed me a brand new tripod which she found in our loft! It still had the packaging on it and everything. That's made my day. Below is what I wore today and some pictures that I found on my computer which I took a few weeks ago that I wanted to share.

You and I buy star maps

Hello all. The weather has been lovely here, almost too hot! I know, shock! I finally got some film for the camera I found at the carboot and I took it round Lanta's to take some pictures, now we just have to wait and see after the pictures have been developed if it was a success of not. One problem is that from where it's been thrown around in my bag, the part of the view finder has come out of place inside the camera, which is a bit of a bummer we can work round that.

Daydreamer with eyes that make you melt

Evening. Thought I would show you my dress I purchased in topshop yesterday for a mere £10, I considered buying it when it first came into stores around my birthday but didn't and have wanted it ever since but when I found it for a tenner I couldn't contain myself after a slightly heated race for it with some of person, it's finally mine thanks to my quick snatching skills. Something that never fails to come in handy in the sales.

Starts so soft and sweet and turns them to hunters

Today I went to Brighton with my mother and good friend Chloe, I made my first visit to Beyond Retro, I spent a long time looking around but purchased a burgundy jumper for £12 and large nautical scarf for £3, I'll show you photos of them soon but I'm quite tired. I also went to topshop and got quite over excited by their sale because my hometowns is rubbish. I purchased a dress I have been looking at on the website for a while which was reduced from £45 to £10 and also a sheery silky shirt that admittedly is from the maternity section but I did want it baggy, this was £20 from £40.

When we were walking through the lanes we came across this group of men, the only way I can describe what they were playing was a 'countryfied' version of Just Dance by Lady Gaga. They were very entertaining to watch.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on my recent posts, I do get very excited when I get comments.
