I've had a really good weekend, hanging with my friends. Went into town today and got the Twiggy book, which I'm in love with, I wish I had a scanner so I could show you my favourite pictures, but you can probably find them on the internet somewhere thinking about it. I also got some vinyl's from the local car boot for my record player and some pasta. Yay.

So this is what I wore, one of my buys from the Brighton trip. It was half price in Urban Outfitters which was a result because I would never have got it at it's full price of £50.

Strangeness and Charm

As mentioned below it was my birthday last week, I was lucky enough to get some wonderful presents from family and friends. I went shopping in Brighton with some of my good friends and coincidently there happened to be a vintage fair in the Brighton Dome which was really good. Then we obviously went round the usual haunts of Beyond Retro etc. I managed to get some really awesome things which I love, so successful shopping wise, but I also had a really great day with my friend's which was nice. OH and guess who was there, only my favourite people from that post. I didn't manage to get an outfit post, so I'll share some pictures from the day. Sorry this is pretty picture heavy, but the fish eye lens is pretty cool.

And finally

Monday 24 January 2011

It was my birthday yesterday, I've been living on this earth for of fifteen years now. Just a really short post to show you some of the lovely things I bought and received. There'll be a more in depth post on my Brighton trip soon. This is the amazing record player that I got from my parents, it's pretty awesome. Although it looks less shiny and older in real life ha.

Just a quick post to show you the dress my lovely friend Emilie got me for my birthday. I just wore this quickly to get a few pictures in it to show because I think I'm going to wear it when I go shopping tomorrow with the gang for my birthday (which is tomorrow, exciting stuff ha).

Sorry they're not the best quality, and for looking like I'm ready to punch you ha

I'll blog after my birthday, so see ya then ha

Who's the killer in the crowd?

Hello all, here's a post full of pretty pictures because I never do these and I want to blog. I'm thinking about changing my header/layout as well.

That their true hue is probably green

This is what I wore today for a lovely day out with the gang to the nearest large shopping centre. Obviously the highlight of the day was eating lunch in Ikea well, minus my friend dropping her chips on the floor and smashing the plate, but somehow she got two free plates of chips out of that? I only bought a cape today from Primark which was in the sale in Primark and some glass jars from Ikea to decorate my room, obviously.

Anyway, this is what I wore. I'm actually surprised I don't think this dress has actually had a post since I bought it way back in the summer at vintage festival, this is one of the few things I've actually had the courage to alter ha. I don't really think these pictures have done it justice, but it really is quite lovely. Don't get me started on the hat, I love this hat. A lot.

Sunday 9 January 2011

So I was going to post yestreday but I never got round to it, which is a bit of a bummer. So I'll make for it with a post today and if your lucky a post tomorrow because our school has the day off (result!).

This is what I wore for some crazy dancing at Emilie's seriously, I don't think I've ever done so many hair flicks ha! I also found out that (wait for the long list) Emilie's sister's friend lives next door to Alexa Chung's parents, I know, I know, me and Alexa are PRACTICALLY best friends haa.

I'm going to shopping tomorrow during the aforementioned day off, so I may get a few things I want to show you but I'm mainly buying presents for the extortionate amount of people who seem to have birthdays in January, but I'm not complaining, mines on the 23rd ha, pretty excited for that ha.

To the basement people, to the basement

Last day of the holidays, and I'm desperately trying to do all the homework I really should have done at the start of the holiday. Not looking forward to going to back to school and getting my maths results for the exam I'm expecting a U on.

I went into town today with Chloe (who felt the need to post a post on here after I left blogger logged on her computer, need to stop doing that) and Megan. I got a ring in the sale from topshop for £2.50, I usually never get jewellery from topshop because it's insanely expensive if you ask me but it was reduced so you know. I also got Alice in wonderland from the bookshop pictured below. Now I've lived in my town since I was three and I've never been in here, I was missing out, there was books everywhere and it was mostly really old ones, which I love. In case you don't know, I'm a massive book person so this was like heaven AND the Alice wonderland/Alice through the looking glass was only £2.50. Enough about old bookshops now ha.
